The souks
Walking through the souks was a challenging, hectic experience and im so glad we had a guide, there are so many alleys n streets to go through that we would have well n truly got lost without one. Full of colour and smells of food, leather and spices. Had to haggle hard as prices were ridiculous, only managed to buy a few things. Saw so many crafts, its such bad working conditions, the stalls and work have been passed down many generations. Very friendly to us as we were with a guide. Lucy was invited to have a go at many things.

Arrived
Our hotel is beautiful, its full of lovely antiques,, the weather is hot n cloudy. We had a tagine lunch of chicken n lemon couscous n lamb n vegetables, it was lovely. We tried the traditional mint tea, very sweet, but nice n refreshing, went back to our hotel and had a swim in the ice cold plunge pool that cooled us down. Had a much needed nap and we are now sitting outside by the pool about to have a traditional Moroccon buffet, .... pics to follow
